The Golden Eagle Scientific name "Aquila chrysaetos".
All eagles belong to the family of Accipitridae. Once widespread across the Holarctic, it has gotten away from more of the heavily populated areas. It has a wingspan that averages over 2 m (7 ft) and up to 1 m (3 ft) in body length.
